Do goals have you feeling deflated?
-
Do you find goals easy to make but somehow hard to achieve or stick to?
-
Is it hard to find goals which actually motivate you?
If you lack confidence to achieve your goals, or you’re finding it’s hard to set goals you’ll actually believe that you’ll achieve, it could be that you’re goal-setting from the wrong way round. -
We all love to focus on the achievements and the outcomes.Â
-
But did you know that this can actually harm our performance?
-
This can cause feelings of too much pressure in us and our dogs, and we actually have less chance of achieving our goals and dreams!
Â
-
A key cause of under-performance is lack of confidence.Â
The superpower of confidence is getting INTENTIONAL about training!
We need to ditch those goals and find our intentions.
-
Could it be that you’ve been goal-setting wrong, all these years!

-
Could it be that you don’t need to do more training
-
We are 50% of the partnership, but do we work for 50% of the time on ourselves?

I'm Kat Farrants
I've been asked now countless times, in the dog sport fraternity to share my knowledge of mindset, performance and the tools that decades of yoga and mindfulness practice have given me when competing and training my dogs.
I've been running our Mindset Mastery for Dog Sports Membership for over 90 people from countries including the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, Holland and the UK from sports including agility, Rally, Herding, Mondio, confirmation and obedience.
It's been just awe-inspiring to see the results from our members.
I've been a yoga practitioner for 30 years, and 11 years ago, I founded what was awarded by OM yoga the 'UK's favourite online yoga platform 2023'.
I've trained dogs since I was a child. I've competed at the top level in confirmation showing, competitive obedience and IGP (Schuzhund) as well has having experience competing in agility and rally.
I'm sharing the tools, techniques and tips that took me from pre-beginners to Obedience Champion with one, special dog competing in the Crufts Obedience Championships, having mum and daughter Obedience Champions, and competing at National level in IGP and making history in IGP being the first UK Aussie to gain IGP3 and competed in National Level, all with a non-traditional breed!Â
I'm both a dog sports trainer and a coach for Mindset Mastery for Dog Sports, coaching competitors from beginners to top level, to overcome nerves and to compete with confidence.
What I offer is unique. There is no other top level dog sports competitor who trains the people to be who their dog needs them to be, utilising 30 years of self-enquiry practices and experience of running the 'Favourite Online Yoga Platform or App' 2024.
"I joined the Mental Mastery for Dog Sports Training because I realised that I was very nervous at Dog Shows. I hoped to learn techniques to help with my nerves so that I could perform better. The course made a huge difference. Kat is a wonderful coach, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is very empathetic."

"At first I was skeptical, but I felt everything shift, and realised how much I can improve my mental game and optimised my dog's training! I have learnt so much about myself, my dog, my training and I now have the start of a toolkit to train me and my dog. I also learnt how my thoughts can be too the detriment of my competing! Thank you, Kat."

From the first session I was better able to manage myself and my state of mind so that I was in a more optimistic and confident place. I hadn’t expected how much the course has helped me to connect with my dogs and be more empathic with them which has transformed our relationships both in and out of training.

What this course has actually done for me is huge!Â
"I was lucky enough to find this course to help with my mindset for dog sports. I joined because I find that my stress at a trials really affects my dog. While we are usually amazing and in flow at training, we are very inconsistent during a trial. I never know what I’m going to get once I take his leash off.  I was hopeful that this course would help me control my nerves and therefore, be more calm and consistent for my dog. What this course has actually done for me is huge! I have really become aware of so many things that I can do to feel more in control of myself during competitions and feel less pressure and stress. I now have many tools at my disposal to help me feel more prepared for many different situations, how to release stress and pressure, as well as how to prepare for the unexpected! What I really cherished about the course was the sense of camaraderie and support I received not just from Kat, but also from the others in the course. It was wonderful to know that we all have felt stress and anxiety during trials and to know that we weren’t alone. I also loved the great suggestions and advice from others. I highly recommend this course to anyone who competes with their dogs and wants to feel more in control of their emotions so they can have fun and experience joy in the trial ring!"
